Depending on the rainfall and Mother Nature, the area is covered in colourful displays of wild-flowers from July to early October. Visit Bird Island, an internationally famous breeding site for the Cape gannet colony, and see other bird species such as White breasted cormorants, Common terns, Cape cormorants, Hartlaub’s gulls and kelp gulls, as well as Cape fur seals.
